Watching the Blizzard

Equipped with Satellite TV, our main activity is watching New York local news and the piles of snow. This time, our timing was superb as far as getting out in time. We were a little bummed that the Eagles game was canceled last night but it will give us something to do on Tuesday night.

Our other big activity is G-Chatting online with Becky as she and Steve attempt to open their front door, shovel out, get to the airport and find a plane that is coming to Grand Cayman. Positive thoughts are going out to Becky and Steve.

We are so confident that they will get here that we are going out this morning to buy beer and enough food for five people for the rest of the week.

It's a lovely place, the weather continues to be great and this is the ultimate relaxation vacation. We're enjoying the time with Allie! In deference to those of you who are digging out from the storm, I'll hold back on describing the ocean, the sunshine and the gentle island breezes.

Be careful digging out and wear a hat!

  1. And what a blizzard it was! The city is in disarray but at least we were able to have a snowball fight this morning with Jackson and some neighborhood kids. Enjoy the sun!
